Diese Anleitung basiert auf der offiziellen Dokumentation von Audiobookshelf, oben verlinkt — überprüfe dort immer die genauen Paket-/Versionsnamen, bevor du diese Befehle auf einem Produktionsserver ausführst, da sich Distributions- und Projektversionen mit der Zeit ändern.

  1. 1Create separate directories

    Audiobookshelf requires config, metadata, audiobooks, and podcasts to each be their own directory — never nested inside one another.

  2. 2Write a compose.yaml

    services: audiobookshelf: image: ghcr.io/advplyr/audiobookshelf:latest ports: - "13378:80" volumes: - /path/to/audiobooks:/audiobooks - /path/to/podcasts:/podcasts - /path/to/config:/config - /path/to/metadata:/metadata environment: - TZ=America/Toronto restart: unless-stopped

    Keep /config on local disk — network shares (NAS/CIFS/NFS) can corrupt its SQLite database over time.

  3. 3Start the server

    docker compose up -d

  4. 4Finish setup in the browser

    The web UI walks you through creating the root admin account on first launch.
