Grocy

Grocy is a self-hosted 'ERP for your household' that tracks groceries, expiry dates, a shopping list, chores, and equipment through a single web app.

Diese Anleitung basiert auf der offiziellen Dokumentation von Grocy, oben verlinkt — überprüfe dort immer die genauen Paket-/Versionsnamen, bevor du diese Befehle auf einem Produktionsserver ausführst, da sich Distributions- und Projektversionen mit der Zeit ändern.

  1. 1Clone the official Docker setup

    git clone https://github.com/grocy/grocy-docker
    cd grocy-docker

  2. 2Pull and start the containers

    docker compose pull
    docker compose up -d

    This launches separate grocy/frontend and grocy/backend containers with a named volume for the SQLite database at /var/www/data.

  3. 3First login

    Open the frontend URL in a browser.

    Default credentials are admin / admin — change the password immediately under user settings.

  4. 4Adjust configuration

    Application settings (locale, first day of week, mode) live in data/config.php inside the persisted volume; restart the containers after editing it.
