Diese Anleitung basiert auf der offiziellen Dokumentation von PhotoPrism, oben verlinkt — überprüfe dort immer die genauen Paket-/Versionsnamen, bevor du diese Befehle auf einem Produktionsserver ausführst, da sich Distributions- und Projektversionen mit der Zeit ändern.

  1. 1Prerequisites

    Make sure Docker is installed, and configure at least 4 GB of swap since indexing can be memory-intensive.

  2. 2Download the compose file

    wget https://dl.photoprism.app/docker/compose.yaml

  3. 3Set a secure admin password

    Edit compose.yaml and change PHOTOPRISM_ADMIN_PASSWORD to a password of at least 8 characters — never leave the default on a public server.

  4. 4Start PhotoPrism

    docker compose up -d

  5. 5Log in

    Open the web UI and sign in with username admin and the password you set.
