Puzzle Grid is an open-source Android app for drawing and filling in Crossword, Sudoku, and Battleship grids on a phone or tablet. It provides a digital alternative to writing on public puzzle papers or to working from a puzzle when access to it is only temporary. The app is intended for people who want to enter, continue, and manage partially completed puzzles on a mobile device.

For Crossword puzzles, users can draw rectangular grids with any dimensions. Common symmetries can be used to create these grids more quickly. Clues can be loaded into the app as an image, and individual clues can be highlighted so they remain visible alongside the grid. These tools support working from a puzzle image while entering answers in the corresponding grid.

Sudoku grids support undo actions and automatic checks for repeated numbers. Ghost mode lets users test possible solutions without overwriting cells they consider reliable. For Battleship, users can also draw rectangular grids with any dimensions, undo actions, and use ghost mode for tentative entries. The app tracks the number of boats remaining for each length and the number of segments in each line.

All supported grid types can be saved and loaded while partially filled, allowing work to continue later. An autosave option stores the current grid for the next time the app is opened.
