Regata OS is developed by a Brazilian team on top of openSUSE, an uncommon base for a gaming-focused distribution compared to the more typical Arch or Fedora foundations most other entries in this category use. Its centerpiece is the Regata OS Store, a curated storefront for installing games and creative applications with descriptions and screenshots baked in, alongside out-of-the-box Vulkan support and integrations like Google Drive access aimed at content creators as well as pure gamers.
