Esta guía se elaboró a partir de la documentación oficial de Pi-hole, enlazada arriba — verifica siempre ahí los nombres exactos de paquetes/versiones antes de ejecutar estos comandos en un servidor de producción, ya que las versiones de la distribución y del proyecto cambian con el tiempo.

  1. 1Run the official installer

    curl -sSL https://install.pi-hole.net | bash

    This is Pi-hole's own documented install method. The installer is interactive — it'll ask which network interface and upstream DNS provider to use.

  2. 2Note the admin password

    The installer prints a randomly generated web admin password at the end — save it, or reset it any time with pihole -a -p.

  3. 3Point your router or devices at it

    Set your router's DNS server (or each device's, if you can't change the router) to this server's IP address so all DNS queries get filtered.

  4. 4Open the dashboard

    http://your-server-ip/admin
