Acerca de
Aard 2 is an open-source dictionary application for Android. It is the successor to AardDict for Android and is designed for people who want to consult dictionary content on an Android device. Its placement in the Reading & Writing category reflects its role in looking up and working with written language.
The application includes a redesigned user interface intended to provide a different way to navigate its dictionary functions. It supports bookmarks, allowing users to keep references to selected entries. It also includes history, which records previously viewed dictionary content for later access. A revised dictionary storage format is another part of the updated application.
Aard 2 is suited to readers, writers, language learners, and anyone who regularly checks word meanings or related dictionary information. Its Android platform makes it relevant to users seeking this type of reference tool within the Android software ecosystem. The open-source license allows the software to be studied, shared, and modified under the terms of that license.
MirrorNest distributes the official Aard 2 build by mirroring it directly on its own storage. Before publication, the mirrored build is scanned for malware. This distribution method gives Android users another place to obtain the same official build while keeping the listing within MirrorNest’s Reading & Writing catalog.
