Baby Books

Baby Books is an open-source Android application in the Reading & Writing category. It allows users to create books by searching wiki pages and bringing selected text and images into the book’s pages. The app is intended for people who want to make simple subject-focused books, including parents and children learning together.

A user can start a book and add pages by searching for subjects such as organisms, animals, plants, or fungi. The resulting material is arranged so that images and text flow onto the pages as the book is assembled. Sharing books directly between Android devices for remixing and improvement is also planned, while the current sharing option is PDF export.
