Core 22 base snap

Core 22 base snap provides a runtime environment for snap packages, including the libraries and dependencies shared by many applications. Based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish), it gives snaps that use it a consistent execution environment.

It is installed automatically on Linux with snapd when a snap package requires it, and only one Core 22 base snap is installed at a time. Snap developers can select it in snapcraft.yaml with base: core22; manually removing it may affect system stability. Published by Canonical as version 20260824, it supports amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el, riscv64, and s390x.
