Acerca de

GitNote is an open-source application for Android that combines note reading and writing with repository-based organization. It is listed in the Reading & Writing category because it lets users browse, search, and edit collections of notes. The application is suited to people who keep notes in folders and want to work with them through a structured repository.

Users can search across all available notes or restrict a search to a particular folder. Notes can be displayed in a grid view for a broader overview or in a tree view that shows their repository structure. An edit view provides the workspace for changing note contents.

GitNote also includes time-based sorting, allowing notes to be arranged according to their dates. These browsing, sorting, and search options support movement between individual notes and the larger collection that contains them. The different views provide ways to examine the same repository from either a broad or structured perspective.

The application can synchronize repositories with Git providers such as GitHub, connecting the Android copy of the notes with the repository used as their source. Private repositories can be accessed through SSH or HTTPS. MirrorNest distributes the official Android build from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing, while the open-source license identifies how GitNote is provided.
