Ojo RTSP IP Camera viewer

Ojo RTSP IP Camera viewer is an open-source Android application for viewing streams from IP cameras. It accepts RTSP camera streams through their URLs and presents them in a simple surveillance wall. The app is listed in the Photo & Graphics category, where its purpose is to display camera imagery rather than edit or create pictures. It is intended for people who need a straightforward way to view one or more configured IP cameras on an Android device.

When one camera is configured, its stream occupies the full screen. As additional cameras are added, Ojo changes to a tiled layout, using grids such as 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4. The number of tiles is selected automatically according to the number of configured cameras, while the maximum usable camera count depends on the device's capabilities. Stream decoding and rendering are handled through VLC's library, which provides the underlying playback component.

Ojo can be launched through the ojo://view deep link. It also supports an OPEN_CAMERA intent for opening a particular camera, identified either by its configured name or by a camera number starting at 1. These launch options allow Android tools or other software to open the viewer with a selected camera in focus. The application was developed specifically for F-Droid after its author could not find an open-source RTSP viewer in that repository.
