Samsung Notes

Samsung Notes is a free Android application in the Productivity category. It lets users create and edit documents on a mobile device, tablet, or PC. Notes can be developed individually or shared for collaboration with other people.

Users can write by hand with an S Pen and add annotations to PDF documents. Notes can include images and voice recordings, while existing photos can be loaded, tagged, and edited within a note. Writing tools include pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, selectable colors and thicknesses, and an eraser. A new note can be started with the plus button, and newly created notes use the sdocx extension.

The application can connect documents with formats and applications such as PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Users can protect selected notes by choosing a locking method and password through the settings and note menus. Notes and memos created in S Note or Memo can be imported through Smart Switch or with a Samsung account.
