Drauger OS builds on Ubuntu's LTS base for long-term stability, then layers gaming-specific tuning on top: a low-latency kernel configuration, pre-installed gaming platforms (Steam, Lutris) and Wine/Proton tooling, and a MATE desktop customized into a more game-launcher-like layout by default. It targets a narrower, more independent niche than Bazzite or Nobara -- a smaller team, an Ubuntu LTS rather than Fedora or Arch base -- appealing to users who specifically want gaming-tuned Ubuntu stability rather than a rolling-release or immutable-image approach.
