Ubuntu Kylin

Ubuntu Kylin is an official Ubuntu flavor built specifically for the Chinese market, developed as a collaboration between Canonical and Chinese state-affiliated institutions, with its own UKUI desktop environment, deep integration for Chinese input methods, and bundled software popular in China (including compatibility layers for common Chinese office and finance applications) that wouldn't otherwise be a priority for the mainline Ubuntu project. It carries the same Ubuntu package base and release model as any other flavor, but users evaluating it outside China should be aware of its government-linked development history when weighing default services, telemetry, and bundled software for their own threat model.
