BikeTrackd

BikeTrackd is an open-source Android application for cycling-oriented navigation, travel, and ride records. It is designed for riders who want to follow routes, review ride information, and manage details related to their bicycles. The application supports English and Portuguese.

During a ride, BikeTrackd can display current weather from Open-Meteo, the device’s battery level, and warnings related to speed limits. Riders can export sessions as GPX files for use outside the application. Font size can be adjusted, and measurements can be shown in either metric or imperial units.

The application supports portrait and landscape layouts and includes protection against OLED burn-in. Map tiles can be downloaded for offline use at zoom levels 10 through 14 within a 40-kilometer radius. Online maps use OpenFreeMap, city searches use OpenStreetMap Nominatim, and optional A-to-B navigation uses GraphHopper with the user’s own free API key.

BikeTrackd also lets riders manage bikes and parts, record wear, and receive maintenance alerts. These functions place it in the Navigation & Travel category while also supporting ongoing bicycle care and ride tracking. MirrorNest distributes the official Android build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing, while the open-source license makes the source available under the applicable license terms.
