Clench Wallet

Clench Wallet is an open-source, Bitcoin-only, non-custodial wallet for Android. It stores wallet data locally on the device and is intended for people who manage Bitcoin through software wallets, watch-only setups, multisignature arrangements, or compatible signing devices. Its Finance & Shopping classification reflects its role as a wallet for Bitcoin payments and transaction management.

Users can create single-signature and multisignature wallets, import watch-only wallets from descriptors, and create or restore BIP-39 seed phrase wallets with an optional passphrase. It supports native SegWit, nested SegWit, legacy, and Taproot script types. The wallet connects to Electrum servers, including personal servers and routes through Tor SOCKS5. Transaction tools include coin control, UTXO freezing, labels, batch payments, RBF fee bumping, CPFP, cancel replacement attempts, raw transaction import, and sweep flows. Node diagnostics can check the Electrum route, Tor mode, TLS pinning, server version, and tip height.

For hardware-wallet workflows, Clench exchanges PSBTs through animated QR, BBQr, intentional NFC taps, microSD or user-selected file imports, and signed-return imports where supported. It does not communicate with signing devices over USB or Bluetooth, although a signer may use USB for power. It works with QR-based signers including SeedSigner, Keystone, Foundation Passport, and Blockstream Jade, while version 0.3.28 adds physically unverified protocol presets for OneKey Pro, Krux, and Specter DIY. The Krux and Specter DIY presets also support user-selected microSD or file transfer, and the wallet includes transfer paths for Coldcard Q, Coldcard Mk4, and Coldcard Mk5. TAPSIGNER support includes protocol status checks, card setup, verification, import, backup, and direct signing for supported single-signature BIP84 native-SegWit or standard BIP48 native-P2WSH multisig inputs with in-app review and returned-signature verification. TAPSIGNER payment signing does not support Taproot, legacy, nested SegWit, nonstandard P2WSH, other account paths, or PIN changes, while SATSCARD active-slot sweeps include certificate verification and explicit CVC-authenticated unseal confirmation.

As an Android application, Clench fits the mobile finance and shopping category while keeping wallet data on the user's device. Its open-source license allows the software to be examined and used under the terms of that license. MirrorNest distributes the official Android build directly from its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing, giving users a mirrored download source for the same build.
