NOVA

NOVA is a community-built, open-source Android client for managing and checking Unraid servers. It is intended for Unraid users who want mobile access to server status and controls through a clean Material 3 interface. In the MirrorNest catalog, it belongs to the Cloud Storage category while running on the Android platform.

The overview shows array capacity, live CPU and memory information, container and virtual machine counts, and parity progress. The array view provides per-disk status, temperatures, capacity, and controls for starting or stopping the array. Docker management includes container status, start, stop, restart, pause, access to each container’s Web UI, image-update detection and application, and live logs. Virtual machines can be viewed and started, stopped, paused, or resumed.

NOVA supports multiple servers with separate local and remote addresses, and it presents Unraid notifications in Unread and Archived tabs. It also provides read-only views of installed server plugins and their installation-operation history, along with read-only network-interface information covering IPv4, IPv6, and hardware details. The app communicates with the server through the official Unraid API using the Connect plugin’s GraphQL endpoint over the user’s own network, without third-party services. The API key remains on the device and is encrypted at rest with the Android Keystore.

NOVA requires Unraid 7.x with the API and Connect plugin enabled, and it supports Android 8.0 or later. Its open-source license allows the software’s source to be examined and shared under its applicable terms. MirrorNest mirrors the official NOVA build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
