ActivityWatch è un'applicazione Windows open-source per la raccolta di preziosi dati di attività personale, mantenendo la privacy dell'utente centrale al suo scopo. È destinato a persone che vogliono raccogliere informazioni sulla propria vita digitale senza trattare la privacy come secondaria.
Il software si concentra sul consentire la raccolta dei dati di vita più utili possibile senza compromettere la privacy dell'utente. Il suo scopo è quindi incentrato sulla raccolta dei dati personali e sull'uso consapevole della privacy, piuttosto che su uno specifico flusso di lavoro professionale o organizzativo.
ActivityWatch è distribuito attraverso MirrorNest come specchio della costruzione ufficiale. La build viene memorizzata direttamente sul proprio storage di MirrorNest e scansionata per il malware prima della pubblicazione, adattando il ruolo del catalogo come fonte di download di software di Windows.
