Batch Image Splitter

Batch Image Splitter is a Windows application in the Photo & Graphics category for processing multiple pictures. It divides images into a specified number of slices arranged by rows and columns, or into tiles based on a desired size. For row-and-column splitting, users set the required number of rows and columns. For fixed-size tiles, width and height can be defined precisely in pixels or percentages.

The software provides more than 130 actions and effects, including resizing, contrast adjustment, and watermarking. It can convert, save, and work with images in more than 30 formats, including JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and J2K. Its 20 scaling modes include Lanczos, Bilinear, Bicubic, Box, and HqX. Images can be rotated and flipped manually or according to their EXIF orientation tag.

Batch Image Splitter can fit images to a fixed size, rectangle, or aspect ratio, resize the canvas, add padding, and change print resolution. Width and height may be set independently or proportionately, using pixels, percentages, or print units, and images can be automatically reduced to fit a desired file size in kilobytes. It also supports lossless JPEG crops, flips, and rotations, automatic cropping, edge cropping, fixed-size cropping, and cropping to a width-to-height ratio. Conditional processing can use image orientation, size, and other attributes, while built-in and cloud-based face detection can support processing of photos containing detected faces.

The application supports static and dynamic text or image watermarks, including text generated from EXIF and file information. It includes layers with more than 40 blending modes and pixel filtering, 12 compositing modes, per-channel processing, and eight color models: RGB, HSB/HSV, HSL, HSI, HWB, YCbCr, Lab, and LCH. Metadata tools cover EXIF, IPTC, GPS, and XMP, and image files can be renamed using image properties, file properties, and EXIF or IPTC metadata. Four operation modes are available: Manual, Background, Scheduled, and Console, with an image preview and interactive histograms.
