Bibleside

Bibleside is an open-source application for Android that provides Bible reading and comparison tools. It is listed in the Reading & Writing category and is intended for people who read or study biblical texts on Android devices. The app includes the OET Reader’s version, the OET literal version, and the KJV version.

Readers can display Bible versions together and use linked scrolling to keep corresponding passages aligned as they move through the text. The OET is presented in Bibleside as a new, open-licensed translation that remains in draft form. MirrorNest distributes Bibleside by mirroring the official build directly on its own storage. The mirrored build is scanned for malware before it is published in the catalog. This gives Android users a catalog-based way to obtain the application while preserving its connection to the official build. Its open-source license also identifies it as software that is available as an openly developed application.
