Heb12 Bible

Heb12 Bible is an open-source Electron application for reading the Bible on Linux. It is intended for readers who want a straightforward desktop tool for consulting Bible chapters. The software fits the education category because it supports reading and comparing biblical text.

The application keeps a history of previously read chapters, allowing users to return to recent reading more easily. Its bookmarks feature lets users save specific chapters for later access. A verse popup provides a way to compare a selected verse with other translations.

Heb12 Bible supports reading the Bible in French through its localization feature. More languages are planned for future development, but they are not part of the current feature set. These tools make the application suitable for individual reading, study, and reference on a Linux computer.

MirrorNest distributes the official Linux build directly from its own storage. The mirrored build is scanned for malware before it is published in the catalog. Heb12 Bible is currently not a stable release, and the planned 0.4.0 release is expected to include additional features.
