Run numerical computations, solve linear and nonlinear problems, and carry out numerical experiments with octave’s high-level interpreted language. Its graphics capabilities support data visualization and manipulation.
Work interactively through the command line, or write programs that run without interaction. The language is similar to Matlab, so most programs can be ported easily. GNU Octave 7.1.0 runs on Linux with snapd on x86_64 (amd64) systems.
