Orion - Torrent Client & Streamer

Open a magnet link, torrent file, or torrent hash in Orion to manage torrent content and stream video, audio, and image files through its built-in media player. The Linux client combines a multithreaded manager with per-task speed limits for upload and transfer activity, while peer selection and choking help coordinate connections.

Orion finds peers through tracker servers, DHT, LSD, PEX, web seeds, and WebTorrent over WebRTC. It can create torrents, share their hashes with friends, and support peer-to-peer sharing of files and folders. It can also create a streaming server accessible from other services.

The app supports plugins, including a torrent search engine, movie browser, YouTube player, torrent metadata overview, and history manager. An app lock restricts access with a passcode, and Orion runs on Linux with snapd on amd64 and arm64 systems.
