Quran Everywhere

Quran Everywhere is a commercial Quran reader for Linux, placed in the education category. It is intended for people who want to read, study, search, or memorize the Quran in a focused interface. The application includes all 114 surahs and all 30 juz, with the complete text of 6,236 ayahs.

Readers can choose between Uthmani and IndoPak script, with the Scheherazade New and Al Quran IndoPak fonts provided for those scripts. Arabic text can be displayed by itself or with a translation beneath each ayah, based on the app language and controlled from Settings. Tafsir is available for individual ayahs, follows the app language, and is included with the application. Four reading themes, adjustable Arabic font size, adjustable line spacing, and a live preview support different reading preferences and conditions.

The whole Quran can be searched through its script and the translation for the selected app language, and references such as 2:255 can be used to jump directly to an ayah. Audio is available from twelve reciters, with the current ayah highlighted and playback continuing into the next surah; any reciter can be downloaded for offline listening. Memorization drills let users select an ayah range, hear each ayah up to ten times, repeat the range, and add a pause for recitation. Users can bookmark ayahs, write one private note per ayah that remains on the device, and use ayah actions to play, repeat, bookmark, copy, or share.

Quran Everywhere remembers the exact ayah where reading stopped and provides a permanent surah index beside the text, keeping search and bookmarks from covering the reading area. Right-click and long-press actions provide access to ayah controls, while keyboard shortcuts are available where a keyboard is present. As a Linux education application, it combines Quran reading, translation, tafsir, audio, search, and memorization tools within a platform-specific desktop reader.
