scantailor-advanced is open-source software for Linux in the Education category. It helps users organize and refine scanned material when page images need structural or visual adjustment. When a scan contains more than one page, scantailor-advanced can divide the image into separate pages. It can correct skew so that the resulting page images are better aligned. MirrorNest distributes the official build by mirroring it directly on its own storage. The mirrored build is scanned for malware before it is published. This gives Linux users a catalog copy of the official build while preserving its Linux platform designation and open-source licensing status.
