Informazioni

TypingMaster - Typing Tutor for Linux is a commercial typing practice application for Linux desktops. It belongs to the education category and is intended for people who want to develop typing speed and accuracy through structured practice. The software supports practice with words, timed exercises, quotations, and text entered by the user.

Typing practice can be configured across 265 languages and 200 keyboard layouts, including Hindi, Arabic, and other complex writing systems. During exercises, an animated caret and live words-per-minute and accuracy readings show how the session is progressing. History graphs record speed and accuracy over time, while a per-key heatmap identifies keys that cause the most difficulty. Adaptive weak-key drills use this information to focus practice on areas that need more attention.

The application includes multiple user profiles and advanced analytics with CSV export for reviewing results outside the program. Optional low-latency key-press sounds provide audible feedback, and the interface offers 187 colour themes with automatic and random switching. A focus mode fades the surrounding interface while typing, keeping attention on the current exercise.

As a Linux education program, TypingMaster fits users who want typing instruction and progress tracking directly on their desktop. MirrorNest links straight to the official release rather than hosting a mirrored copy, so the download is obtained from the original release source. The commercial license is part of the software’s distribution terms and should be considered before installation or use.
