Checkmk

Checkmk is an IT infrastructure monitoring suite that auto-discovers services on hosts and ships as a self-contained OMD site image, officially distributed as a Docker container per edition.

このガイドは上記リンク先にあるCheckmk公式ドキュメントをもとに作成されています。ディストリビューションやプロジェクトのバージョンは時間とともに変わるため、本番サーバーでこれらのコマンドを実行する前に、必ず公式ドキュメントで正確なパッケージ名・バージョン名を確認してください。

  1. 1Pull the Checkmk image

    docker pull checkmk/check-mk-community:2.5.0-latest

    Other editions (Pro, Ultimate) use checkmk/check-mk-pro / check-mk-ultimate image names.

  2. 2Run the Checkmk container

    docker container run -dit \ --name monitoring \ -e CMK_PASSWORD='mypassword' \ -e TZ='Europe/Berlin' \ -v monitoring:/omd/sites \ --tmpfs /opt/omd/sites/cmk/tmp:uid=1000,gid=1000 \ -p 8080:5000 \ -p 8000:8000 \ --restart always \ checkmk/check-mk-community:2.5.0-latest

    -p 8000:8000 exposes the Agent Receiver used for host registration; the web UI listens internally on port 5000.

  3. 3Log in

    A monitoring site named 'cmk' is created automatically on first start.

    Open http://localhost:8080/cmk/check_mk/ and sign in as cmkadmin with the CMK_PASSWORD you set.
