Batch RegEx

Batch RegEx is a Windows utility for applying Regular Expression operations to text in multiple files. It supports GREP-like work such as searching, replacing, substituting patterns, and extracting data. Its built-in RegEx editors provide color syntax highlighting and contextual tooltips for creating patterns. Specialized tools for HTML or XML tags, lines, and numbers can help construct RegEx patterns more quickly. The program supports Unicode and includes transformations such as changing case, trimming, reversing characters, sorting or shuffling lists, removing duplicates, computing hashes, encrypting or decrypting text, encoding or decoding URLs, converting Morse code, and escaping or unescaping strings. Matched text can also be treated as numbers for number-based operations.

Batch RegEx can process large groups of files using multiple CPU cores in manual, continuous, triggered, scheduled, or console modes. It can also be started from the Windows Explorer right-click menu. Files may be selected by name, dates, size, or contents through advanced search using RegEx and advanced wildcards. Processing can merge, split, or zip files, apply different operations through conditional processing and branching, and run multiple program instances at the same time.

Processed files can be written to an absolute or relative output directory with either their original names or names defined by a mask.
