Chaka Book Reader

Chaka Book Reader is an open-source reading application for Android. It is intended for people who read books, documents, comics, and other supported files on an Android device. The application uses a simple, clear interface for reading content in a range of formats.

It supports PDF, EPUB, DJVU, MOBI, FB2, XPS, TXT, and HTML documents. It also opens CBZ, CBR, and CBT comics, along with DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and multi-page TIFF files. ZIP, GZIP, RAR, TAR, and 7-ZIP packages containing supported files are also included in its file support.

Reading controls include horizontal or vertical flipping, continuous scrolling, margin cropping, and a Lock Stray option to help keep scrolling straight. Focus Mode preserves the page position when flipping through zoomed pages, while Smarty Focus recognizes page-border bias in that mode. The reader supports top-to-bottom and right-to-left text, scanned dual-spread PDF pages through Single Column mode, selectable font sizes, color palettes, text selection, tables of contents, bookmarks, links, search, book sharing, and remembered reading states.
