Karuta HLS Compiler

Compile Karuta scripts into synthesizable Verilog HDL designs for logic circuits with the command karuta compile led.karuta, which can produce a file such as led.v. Karuta is an object-oriented scripting language, and its compiler applies high-level synthesis (HLS) to turn the script into a circuit design. A script can define an output and a process that waits, writes a Boolean value to an LED, and toggles it repeatedly.

The compiler is intended to improve productivity in logic-circuit design by working at a higher level than direct Verilog description. A VS Code extension provides syntax support for Karuta. Karuta HLS Compiler 0.6.7 is an open-source Linux system tool published by Yusuke Tabata; it requires snapd and targets x86_64 (amd64).
