  1. 1Run the official install script

    curl https://repo.jellyfin.org/install-debuntu.sh | sudo bash

    This is Jellyfin's own documented one-line installer for Debian/Ubuntu, adding their repo and installing the server + web client together.

  2. 2Open the setup wizard

    http://your-server-ip:8096 — point it at your media folders and create the admin account.
