Technitium DNS Server

Technitium DNS Server is a self-hosted, cross-platform authoritative and recursive DNS server with a built-in web console, DNS-over-HTTPS/TLS support, and ad/tracker blocking.

  1. 1Run the official install script

    The same script both installs a fresh setup and upgrades an existing one; it automatically stops systemd-resolved so Technitium can bind port 53.

    curl -sSL https://download.technitium.com/dns/install.sh | sudo bash

  2. 2Open the web console

    Browse to http://<server-ip-address>:5380/ and complete the first-run setup wizard.
