Hakkında
JNordVPN Manager is an open-source graphical application for managing NordVPN connections on Linux. It is intended for Linux users who want to control VPN connections through a graphical interface rather than the native nordvpn commands. The application is listed in MirrorNest under the security category.
Its server and city tree view helps users locate available NordVPN servers, with filtering by country and city. Connection controls support logging in, logging out, connecting, disconnecting, and pausing a session. Recent connections are stored so that a previous connection can be selected for reconnection.
A world map provides another view of the available servers and identifies the currently active server. JNordVPN Manager does not store account or password information, because it serves as an interface for the native nordvpn commands. The application is built with Java and focuses on presenting these NordVPN controls in a Linux desktop interface.
MirrorNest links directly to the official JNordVPN Manager release instead of mirroring the software. On Linux installations using the snap package, the application may initially run in installation mode and show an icon with the extension “(install).” That mode creates a desktop file in the local desktop folder for launching JNordVPN Manager, while the license for the software is currently unknown.
