NotiFilter

NotiFilter is an open-source Android application for managing device notifications according to user-defined filters. It listens to notifications from installed apps and quietly handles those that match the configured rules. It is intended for people who want more precise control over notifications that are distracting, repetitive, or only relevant at certain times.

Filters use regular expressions, allowing notification text to be targeted with detailed patterns for each app. A matching notification can be dismissed, tapped, delayed, batched, debounced, muted, or used to trigger an alert. Filters can also disable Do Not Disturb, remove stale notifications, or replace them.

A schedule determines when individual filters operate, such as limiting a rule to work hours. Recently dismissed notifications are stored locally in a history for reference and retrieval. NotiFilter can also send filtered notifications to a configurable home screen widget, while JSON export and import provide a way to back up or transfer filter settings.

The application runs fully offline, so its data stays on the Android device. It is designed to operate in the background with minimal battery and memory usage. As a notification utility, it fits the Android Notification category by focusing on notification handling rather than general device customization.
