Voxel Paint Pro

Voxel Paint Pro is an open-source graphics-design application for Linux that lets users work with textured nodes in an interactive three-dimensional environment. Its controls support moving around a scene, placing and removing nodes, and changing the appearance of pointed nodes. It is intended for Linux users who want a keyboard-and-mouse-based way to construct and revise voxel-style arrangements.

Clicking the game window locks the mouse to it, while Escape releases the mouse. W, A, S, and D move according to the relative X and Y orientation, and Space with Left Shift moves along the relative Z axis. Middle Mouse Click and Drag, Mouse4 and Drag, or Q and Drag selects an area of nodes. V copies the selection to the pointed position, T copies it while cycling through 24 rotations, and Y projects an array of the selection in the facing direction across 24 rotations. B fills selected nodes with the chosen colour, and N deletes them. R places a node at the current position, F toggles fast movement, and keys 1 through 7 change the movement speed for that state. G switches gravity on or off, P toggles pitch lock, F1 restores the default environment state, and the arrow keys move the view.

F3 saves the current state, while F8 loads the last save and removes work completed since that save. The state is also saved automatically when the program exits, with a backup made after three minutes of inactivity. Mouse sensitivity can be supplied as the first command-line parameter, with 0.003 as the default, for example ./voxelpaintpro 0.003.
