À propos

dashkiosk is an open-source system tool for presenting dashboard content through a receiver-based design. It is listed for Linux in the System Tools category on MirrorNest. The software separates dashboard direction from visual presentation, allowing the connected display device to handle how the content is shown.

The package includes an Android application that presents the receiver in a simple fullscreen webview. This gives an Android device a direct way to display the same dashboard content without adding other interface elements to the screen. The Android option is part of the broader receiver setup associated with dashkiosk.

For screens connected through Google Chromecast devices, dashkiosk provides a custom receiver that can also run the regular receiver. This gives users different ways to place the same dashboard content on connected screens. In each case, the receiver-based approach keeps dashboard direction on the server while the display device handles presentation.

MirrorNest mirrors the official dashkiosk build directly onto its own storage for distribution. Before publication, the mirrored build is scanned for malware. This setup gives Linux users a locally served copy of the official build while retaining the software’s open-source distribution model.
