À propos
WarmSlider is an open-source Linux utility in MirrorNest’s System Tools category. It lets users adjust the display’s color temperature with a simple slider. The setting can be changed while viewing the display, allowing the effect to be assessed and adjusted live.
The available range runs from 2500 K at the warm end to 6500 K at the neutral end. For connected X11 displays, WarmSlider directly supports these color-temperature controls. On Wayland, it works through GNOME’s native night-light service.
Its behavior therefore depends on the Linux display session in use. X11 users can use WarmSlider’s direct display support, while Wayland users need the GNOME night-light integration. This session-specific design places the application in MirrorNest’s System Tools category for Linux software.
WarmSlider is free to use and does not collect user data. MirrorNest stores a direct mirror of the official build and scans it for malware before publishing it. The catalog provides a copy of the official Linux build while preserving its open-source licensing.
