Sobre
AbaClient is a Windows application designed for users of Abacus software. It combines a Java environment managed by Abacus with a web browser configured for Abacus-related use. Its purpose is to provide the components needed to work with Abacus applications and web content in one client.
The Java environment is based on the open source OpenJDK project. This setup does not create dependencies on Oracle. The included browser is adapted to handle certificates generated for Abacus without displaying warning messages.
AbaClient recognises the newer abalink format, which is intended for use from Abacus version 2019. This allows the client to work with links using that format. AbaClient also serves as a replacement for the earlier AbaStart product.
In the MirrorNest catalog, AbaClient fits the Windows software category and is relevant to people working with Abacus systems.
