Certify The Web - Certify Certificate Manager is a free Windows application for requesting, installing, managing, and automatically renewing SSL/TLS certificates. It supports certificates from Let’s Encrypt and other ACME certificate authorities. The software is intended for IIS and other Windows services that require certificates, making it relevant to certificate administration within the Security & Privacy category.

The application can automate certificate requests and deploy certificates to IIS bindings. It supports single-domain, multi-domain SAN, and wildcard certificates, with validation through HTTP or DNS challenges. DNS validation can use more than 30 provider APIs or the managed Certify DNS service, while supported certificate authorities include Let’s Encrypt, Google Trust Services, ZeroSSL, Martini Security, and private ACME servers.

The package includes the Certify Certificate Manager desktop application, the Certify Management Agent Windows service, and Certify CLI. The background agent handles renewal and certificate maintenance, while stored credentials are protected using the Windows Data Protection API. Pre-request and post-request deployment tasks and scripting can support environments involving Exchange, RDS, CCS, Apache, nginx, Azure Key Vault, Hashicorp Vault, and webhooks.

The software requires 64-bit Windows versions currently supported by Microsoft, PowerShell 5.1 or higher for deployment tasks and some DNS providers, and administrator rights to register its Windows service. It is self-contained and does not require a separate .NET runtime, and it can optionally connect to a self-hosted Certify Management Hub, which cannot be installed on the same machine.
