Chalachithram

Chalachithram is an open-source quiz game for Android based on dialogues from popular films of the Malayalam film industry. It is intended for people who want to test their familiarity with Malayalam movie dialogue through timed questions. The app presents more than 700 dialogues as its quiz material.

The main play options use three time limits for each question. The Shaji Kailas round allows five seconds per question, while the Sadha round allows 15 seconds and the Amal Neerad round allows 30 seconds. These named rounds organize the dialogue quiz around different response times.

Chalachithram also includes the Santosh Pandit round, an additional mode unlocked by obtaining more than 100 points in the Shaji Kailas round. This mode gives two seconds per question, making it the fastest listed time control. A score of at least 200 points in the Santosh Pandit round is required to win the game.

As an Android title in the Games category, Chalachithram is suited to quiz play on Android devices. Its open-source license identifies the software as openly licensed rather than closed-source.
