Debug Mode Widget

Debug Mode Widget is an open-source Android application in the System Tools category. It places the current states of USB Debugging and Wireless Debugging on the Android home screen. The widget is intended for users who want to check these settings and reach related system screens from one location.

USB Debugging is shown as an on-or-off status, and Wireless Debugging is presented in the same way. A Running Services shortcut opens Android’s Running Services screen. Tapping either debugging status row opens Developer Options. Tapping Running Services opens that system screen instead. A refresh button rereads the current states without requiring the user to leave the home screen.

Debug Mode Widget has no launcher icon and is used entirely as a home-screen widget. To add it, the user long-presses the home screen, selects Widgets, locates Debug Mode, and drags it into place. It does not run background processes, send notifications, require internet permission, or track users. This makes it a widget-focused System Tools application rather than a conventional launcher application.
