Sobre

Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer is a graphical tool for managing cloud storage resources on Linux. It is intended for developers and other users who need to work with storage accounts, subscriptions, and related Azure services. The product supports Azure, Azure Stack, and government cloud environments.

It can upload, download, and manage Azure blobs, files, queues, and tables. It also supports Azure Cosmos DB entities, Azure Data Lake Storage entities, and virtual machine disks. Users can work with storage accounts through Azure Resource Manager or through the classic storage account model. The tool also provides management for cross-origin resource sharing rules and shared access signatures.

Storage Explorer can organize access to storage accounts across multiple Azure subscriptions. Its graphical interface brings these cloud storage management tasks together in one application. The product includes security-related controls for data access, including cross-origin resource sharing and shared access signatures. On Linux, Storage Explorer requires the use of a password manager, which may need to be connected manually before the application works correctly.

The required connection can be made with the command snap connect storage-explorer:password-manager-service :password-manager-service. MirrorNest lists Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer in the developer-tools category for the Linux platform. MirrorNest links directly to the official release instead of mirroring the software. The license is currently unknown, and additional product information is available at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/features/storage-explorer.
