Sobre
Photograph is a native desktop application for Linux that provides photo browsing, image management, and color grading in one tool. It is intended for people who need to organize and review image collections while making controlled visual adjustments. The application is written in Rust and is released under an open-source license. In MirrorNest, it is listed in the video category, although its documented functions focus on still-image work.
The application supports several RAW formats, including RAF, DNG, NEF, CR2, and ARW. It uses sidecar-based editing, so adjustments are stored separately from the original image rather than applied directly to it. This provides a non-destructive workflow for color grading and other supported edits. Photograph also uses Vulkan for GPU-accelerated preview rendering.
For output, Photograph can process images in batches and export them as JPG, PNG, or WebP files. Batch export is useful when the same general workflow needs to be applied across multiple images. The combination of RAW support, non-destructive sidecars, and export options makes the program suitable for image management and editing tasks on a Linux desktop.
MirrorNest mirrors the official Photograph build directly on its own storage. Before publishing, the mirrored build is scanned for malware. This distribution setup gives Linux users a catalog copy of the official open-source application while keeping the listed platform and license information clear.
