Amazon CloudWatch Agent

Amazon CloudWatch Agent is an open-source monitoring and telemetry agent available for Windows through the MirrorNest download catalog. It collects system-level information from Amazon EC2 instances, including in-guest metrics in addition to standard EC2 instance metrics. It can also collect system-level metrics from on-premises servers, including servers used in hybrid environments or servers not managed by AWS.

The agent is intended for administrators and developers who need to gather operational data from cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems. It can receive custom application or service metrics through the StatsD and collectd protocols. StatsD works with Linux servers and Windows Server, while collectd is supported only on Linux servers.
