MirrorNest respects intellectual property rights. We only mirror files ourselves when we believe redistribution is permitted (see how we source software), and everything else links directly to the official publisher — but mistakes can happen. If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe that content hosted on MirrorNest infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.

The fastest way to report a specific listing is the Report this file link on that listing's own page. If you submit it from an email address at the product's own official domain, we treat that as a verified rights-holder complaint and the listing is automatically taken down within 24 hours unless we resolve it sooner; anything else goes into the same queue for manual review, with no automatic action either way. For a formal written notice with full legal weight, email us instead:

To be effective, a written notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. The exact URL(s) on MirrorNest where the material is located.
3. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address).
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices to [email protected]. We aim to review valid notices within a few business days, removing or disabling access to the reported file while we investigate.

If a file you own or have the right to distribute was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] including:

1. Identification of the material removed and its location on MirrorNest before removal.
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
3. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts where you're located (or, if outside that jurisdiction, an appropriate federal court).
4. Your physical or electronic signature.

Unless the original claimant files a court action within the statutory window after we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the file.

Accounts and sources that are the subject of repeated, valid takedown notices are removed from the catalog and, for admin-curated sources, permanently disabled from future automated ingestion.
