crDroid builds on LineageOS's codebase and adds a substantially larger set of customization options (extra Quick Settings tiles, status bar and lock screen tweaks, deeper theming controls) than LineageOS ships by default, aimed at users who specifically want to tune their phone's look and behavior in detail rather than a close-to-stock experience. It's maintained with a notably fast release cadence -- new builds tracking the latest Android security patches typically land within days of a new LineageOS or AOSP source drop -- and covers over 150 devices, making it one of the most actively updated custom ROMs a non-Pixel-device owner can realistically run today.

MirrorNest doesn't mirror ROM installation files — flashing a custom ROM is device-specific and carries real risk (an interrupted flash can brick a device), so installation should always go through the project's own official device page and instructions, linked above.
