Evolution X's stated goal is staying close to what a real Google Pixel phone's software looks and feels like, rather than reskinning Android into something visually distinct -- it adds Pixel-exclusive-style features (certain launcher behaviors, Pixel-style icons and animations) to non-Pixel hardware, alongside a more modest set of the customization options ROMs like crDroid emphasize more heavily. It maintains parallel branches for multiple recent Android versions simultaneously, letting older or less-updated devices stay on a still-maintained branch rather than being dropped the moment a newer Android version ships.

MirrorNest doesn't mirror ROM installation files — flashing a custom ROM is device-specific and carries real risk (an interrupted flash can brick a device), so installation should always go through the project's own official device page and instructions, linked above.
