Aurora mirrors everything Bluefin does for GNOME users -- built-in NVIDIA driver support, Homebrew integration, developer-container tooling, and Universal Blue's shared automated image pipeline -- but starts from Fedora Kinoite's immutable Plasma base instead of Silverblue's GNOME base. Like Bluefin, it targets users who want an immutable, atomically-updated system's resilience without personally assembling every convenience layer on top of a bare Kinoite install themselves. Both projects are maintained by the same Universal Blue community, which has become one of the most active hubs of innovation building on top of Fedora's OSTree-based atomic-desktop infrastructure.
