Bodhi Linux ships with almost nothing pre-installed beyond the Moksha desktop itself, following a philosophy of 'let the user choose' rather than bundling a large default application set -- users add exactly the software they want via Ubuntu's normal package repositories. Moksha exists specifically because the upstream Enlightenment project moved past E17 in a direction the Bodhi team didn't want to follow for a stable desktop; they forked and kept maintaining that version themselves under the Moksha name. The result is a strikingly configurable, visually distinctive, and resource-light desktop that still benefits from Ubuntu's full software compatibility underneath.
