Endless OS was designed from the outset for a very different context than most distributions on this list: first-time computer users, often in regions with expensive or unreliable internet access, who need a system that's genuinely useful the moment it's installed without downloading anything further. It ships a large bundle of offline-capable educational apps, a full offline copy of Wikipedia and other reference content, and a simplified, highly customized GNOME interface aimed at users with no prior computing experience. Under the hood it uses the same OSTree image-based, atomically-updated architecture that inspired Fedora Silverblue's design, making Endless OS one of the earliest mainstream distributions to prove that model at scale.

MirrorNest doesn't mirror distro ISOs — installation media should always come straight from the project's own official download page (linked above), so you get the correct checksum/signature to verify against.
